Recipe Development
Translating today's food trends for the home cook.
Janice Cole relies on three guiding principles for each recipe she creates:
Janice has been developing recipes for home cooks since
she started teaching cooking classes at the beginning of her
career over 25 years ago. Her success is due to her ability to translate complex and intricate flavors into recipes home cooks can easily undertake. Janice's culinary education, experience in the restaurant world, work
with cooking schools and travels abroad all combine to give her a broad
perspective and depth of knowledge that she shares in her development of recipes for her clients.
Janice has demonstrated the ability to multi-task handling a number of different projects at once. She is able to take charge, coordinate and work with a team. She also has expert associates who work under her guidance allowing her to undertake large projects.
As test kitchen director of Cooking Pleasures for
over 10 years, Janice has gained experience in recipe
troubleshooting. She is happiest when she's able to spend a day in the
kitchen exploring the complexities behind a recipe and ensuring its success.
As food editor of Cooking Pleasures Janice Cole regularly contributes articles and recipes to the magazine. She has also worked with a variety of other clients on both
editorial and promotional projects from recipe pamphlets to books. She is adept at tailoring each
recipe to fit her clients' needs. Whether the project requires cooking
or baking Janice has the experience. Her large repertoire of recipes feature quick and simple meals, healthy foods, cooking techniques demystified and flavors from around the world. She easily translates today's trends into recipes for home cooks and always keeps an eye on the future.
